I have recently gained my ppl from the grass strip of Derby Aeroclub, and now have about 80 hours, exclusively on C152's. I'll be sailing to Ireland and stranded on the ground near Cork during a family holiday 24th July - 13th Aug and wondered about a couple of hours flying with for local experience/trying other aircraft dual?

Anyone got any ideas where i should look?

You could try Southaer at Cork airport.

You can visit their website by clicking here. (http://www.southaer.com/home.asp)

If you want to PM me i'll give you the number of the guy who owns Bantry Airport, he's a good guy and he might be able top point you in the direction of someone that will take you for a spin. Instead of hiring something which is a bit boring when your on your own.

If you are sailing to Kinsale then let me know, i'm leaving the Severn for Kinsale on the 25th of July with my uncle!
