Does anyone have infor on Clutton Hill airstrip?

I would like to land there at the end of the month and would like to get permission from the owner.

All i know is, it is a 1500m grass trip that used to be the home to Wessex Aero Club (which incidentaly i cant find any info on)

Cheers.

Last time I went to Clutton Hill it was some 500 metres long not 1500, so do check your perf calcs. Also there is a large tree right on the threshold requiring a dog leg around it just before the flare. Not too difficult but harder than landing at Popham on the westerly runway. Fun taking off and getting bounced into the air on the lip about 200m from bottom...
