I am thinking about to buy one GPS soon and can not deicide which of those both i would prefere...Can you tell me about your experience with this systems and give some pro's and contra's?;)
Which one is quicker working and which is more to trust...?

I've got the 296 and it works really well (see other thread entitled GPS).. My only thought about the Ique is that it appears to be fairly flimisly clipped into the GPS cradle.

At least you could get an additional memory card with a road database and use it in your as well.

Completely doable with the 296.

No point in wasting your money, unless you plan to use it in the US. None of its extra features over the 296 can be used in Europe.

I recently bought a 296, and am very pleased with it. The battery life is excellent, at over 10 hours, and the display is prefectly readable in bright sunlight.

so nothing is promised by Garmin like 396 for Europe?

why nobody likes 3600a?:)
