Hi, can anyone tell me roughly how long the whole procedure from start to finish will take to receive a US visa so that I can go and do my ppl training out there. Thanks

I've just got a B1/B2 visa to enable me to go in on the company aircraft and it took me about 3 Weeks from filling in the on-line form, but I was lucky to get a cancelled appointment at the Embassy. Take a good long book when you go for the interview!!! I've no idea if this is good, bad, or average and I presume you will need a different type Visa. P.M me if you need a rough guide to the sequence of events and costs.

M.E,

I have just booked my appointment for an interview at the US embassy today. The first slot they could offer was aug 7th! I have given myself (hopefully) plenty time as I am not going until October. I am applying for an M-visa so it might be different but what do they mean by "interview"? what sort of things were you asked?
