I am heading for initial Dash 8 100 training soon. Any tips on how to fly the sim or the aircraft in general?

Just try an use small inputs into the controls. Roll control is good, but the elevator is very sensitive. Let me know how it goes.

Just completed mine,
Dont pump the controls, just slow gradual/steady input
Rudders are very powerful on the Dash, so dont over react when you have the inevitable engine failures.
Learn those memory items(cant stress this enough), that was one of my biggest problems on that course.
And lastly enjoy the course/aircraft
