Font Viewer
Can anyone recommend a free Font Viewer?
Thanks in anticipation.
Which OS?
Both Word and Notepad enable you to preview fonts.

BOAC.....
(XP Pro) Yes, ta, re. Word/Notepad.
I was thinking more about the plethora of more involved freebe programs such as those listed HERE (http://www.snapfiles.com/downloadfind.php?action=s&st=font+viewer). There invariably turns out to be a general 'favourite' in such circumstances, because of advantages over the rest.

The best I ever found was Black Sun Software's X-Fonter - really excellent. It's a font mananger as well as a font viewer - install, remove, save, group etc., etc.
It (v6.0) costs money now, but some of the earlier free versions (3.7.6 is the one I have) are still available out on the Web. A quick Google for X-Fonter 3.7.6 shows up a good few sites. Here are a couple:

Mac :ok:
Edited to add: Just had a quick look at AMP Font Viewer - http://www.ampsoft.net/utilities/FontViewer.php - looks good, will try it on one of the other machines later.

Thanks Mac.
No luck so far with 'X-Fonter'; numerous Google entries lead either to dead links, or (paid) v6, despite v3.7.6 annotation.
