Help - considering JAA and A320 rating

Hi everyone. I have a frozen ATPL in Australia and am considering doing JAA and a A320 type rating. I had a late flying start - 36 y.o and only 350 hours. Does anyone know if many low time pilots are getting any airline work in Europe. Any other tips or advice greatly appreciated.

Unless you know people, it is unlikely people will be rushing to your door because you have a 320 rating. Without hrs on type, it is pretty useless, as many have discovered to their cost.
