3 years and about 1'050'000 SKR (90'000€) for PPL, ME/IR, ATPL, CPL and Type-Rating on an A320...

In 2002, I was rostered to fly with a newly recruited first officer for the first time. In the cruise he told me that he owed his bank approximately £80,000 for his training costs and on his salary could only pay off the interest charges, not any capital. This is higher than some, but I suspect he had to re-take a module or two he was certainly a tidy pilot.

P.P.

Aerodynamics is a bottomless pit (albeit inverted...). Every pilot needs some aero, but the higher you go in the pilot world, the more you will learn (and need to to learn).
