Just wondered what documents YOU carry when flying away from your home airfield.

If you are a student does your instructor tell you to take all the documents?

I understand some schools do not carry documents not even a CoA!

Personal documents. If by that you mean licence, medical etc. No, don't carry them, not obliged to on a domestic flight in UK airspace. All the aircraft documents are on board.

On a training flight i.e Aerial work.

I know of at least one school that doesn't carry documents (Radio Licence, CofA, Licence (medical for student), Maint review, Tech long) on board for say QXC qualifiers. Is this allowed??

Having look at Schedule 10 of the ANO - it definately is not legal.
