Here is one for you.........

You have been given a descent to be level by a point which may or may not be shown on an approach plate, when you get further descent ATC don't mention to still be level by the point in the original descent clearance. Do you have to assume you must still make that gate and does it make a difference if it is/isn't shown on an approach plate, e.g officially level by point or ATC requested point?

If anyone knows this, it would be great to know where the answer is written down, I have looked through CAP413 but can't seem to find it?

A new clearance replaces the old one, level restrictions should be repeated but often are not. It is easier to comply with them anyway. I think it comes under the heading - don't intentionally be an arse, its bad enough when it happens by mistake.
