Hey,

Does anyone have any insight about doing an instructor rating at Toronto Airways out of YKZ ? Do they hire you on after your done your rating, pay, working conditions ect? The look mighty busy so it looks like a good place to build some time.

Instructor rating is about 8K$, nobody will tell you that you get hired!! i know a couple of people that did, some didn't:hmm:
I while back, they hired instructors from all over Canada, and my friend that did the rating there had to find a job somewhere else!

Busy school and lots of flying at a busy airport (cykz). Last batch of instructors were all trained from within.

Do they normally look for guys in the spring and fall?

Your best bet is in the Spring when the flying picks up. This is also the time when instructors seem to leave for other jobs. Fall is quite slow.
