Do your SOP say when to switch from TA/RA to TA only?

(Beside single eng on twin.)

We stay on TA/RA all the time, the unit automatically switches to TA only at low altitudes.

My previous fleets SOPs allowed us to select TA only when being vectored towards converging ILS approaches (eg 09&08 at CDG) when the other traffic was in sight to avoid nuisance RAs.

The only time I have switched it to TA only is during the introduction of the system to the a/c when both crew had not completed the ground training
But since the its always in AUTO,TA at low level and TARA the rest of the time

Checklists dealing with limited performance (one engine out mainly) advise to switch the TCAS to TA only. Apart from that we leave it at TA/RA all the time, it switches to TA only below 900ft RA anyway.

Switching to TA in a conflicting situation, would it change the warning of the intruder?
