Hello!

I'm on a hunt for a couple of old videos I saw when I visited the 4th FW at Seymour Johnson AFB back in the late 80s. Both seemed to be homemade affairs done by pilots of their respective mounts and were full of ohh-rah-blow-stuff-up shots and generally a heavy dose of testosterone. Appropriately.

The only thing I remember about the A-10 video was that it kind of took the piss about it's speed but had some good shots of stuff blowing up. It had a couple of shots of hand-drawn cartoons showing an A-10 modified for carrier ops - with the hook mounted backwards on the nose so the carrier could snatch it as it sailed underneath, and some that described the A-10's attack profile for a tank - which was to deploy the speedbrakes, let the tank undershoot, then get it from behind. I think the theme music was a Dio tune, but can't remember.

The F-4 video was a similar kind of thing but it had a soundtrack written for it which talked about all the roles the F-4 had but each verse ended with the line "mostly bomber" and showed various shots of the F-4's superb ability to move large amounts of mud.

Both were hilarious. Does anyone recognise them from those appalling descriptions and happen to know if they've ever been posted anywhere?

Will do, Bram. Hopeing to get the answer here on this forum, but they're old videos so they may not be well known anymore.
