How do you join a race track if you dont want to hold first?? Imagine that there is no alternate procedure. Say example its a left racetrack with an inbound at 010 degrees at 8 nm. How would I go about it??

Also just a general question im not too sure about. With SRA s that terminate at 2nm, this becomes the missed approach point if your not visual. Im I correct?

Race track is a reversal procedure, which is required when your track is more than 70 degrees off the final track. After entry you can exit it when you're on final track and you're ready for approach. That means that you can actually just do the entry, establish inbound and start the approach, without completing a full racetrack. Hope that answers the first one.

Jockey's not wrong - but your question was "How do you join?" The answer is - the same way you would if you were entering the hold. In other words, according to the entry sector.

A 2nm SRA termination has 2 possible MAP, 1)1nm DME or 2)a timing from 2NM . As this is a non-precision approach you descend to MDA by 2nm then continue at MDA until MAP.:ouch:

All above is correct, a little tip though: If you join via a parallell entry, instead of going straight for the beacon, make a steeper intercept to the inbound course to be established before crossing the beacon and you'll be able to shoot the approach from there. In most cases the descent point is on the outside of the beacon and you need to be established on the track before descending, hence the steeper intercept.
