How do the third party authors of airliner system/operating guides get around copyright rules?
Have just read a reasonable 'third party' systems guide for the A320. Whilst it is not comprehensive nor exhaustive, it certainly helps put things across from a different perspective.
From our point of view anything that helps us understand technical data and the practical application of it must be a good thing. I'm sure there is some sort of copyright in existence though, so I'm just wondering how Airbus view this third party data being put out and how these publishers got around any laws?
