Just wondering if they hire lower time people for this position rather than direct on the -170. Plus how do you log time in this position or can you at all?
Any info would be great. Thanks

1-Air Canada only has one selection process. You interview with them to be a pilot and that's it. You'll only find out which aircraft you get to fly after the 550 course. Right now guys are going on the EMB(F/O) or 767(RP). They will ask you about your preference during the interview...

2-To fly as a RP you need a RP type rating on the aircraft. (you can get more info from TC/licensing section)

Good luck!:ok:
