A friend in the Indianapolis area would like to do his initial flight training with a top class instructor on a tail wheel aircraft. I would be grateful for any suggestions.

It's not exactly near Indianapolis, but since this thread has been running a few days without a reply I thought I'd suggest it anyway: Chandler Air Service (http://www.aerobatics.com/) in Phoenix, AZ, do ab-initio training on a Piper Super Cub. Or at least they did when I was last there about 4 years ago.

Hope that's at least of some help to you.

You may wish to post the same question here (http://www.studentpilot.com/interact/forum/) (try the Tailwheel forum).
