We use a system called Sabre Rocade - it is useless !

It was introduced a few months ago and has proved wholely unreliable.

We have to log on on Friday afternoon to collect our roster online.

Server faults, unable to log on, late rosters, blank rosters - does anyone else use this system or are we just unlucky ?

Sabre Rocade is used by quiet a few airlines in the UK and Scandinavia, it was previously RM Rocade until bought out by Sabre.

Get the magician to sort it out. He’s more clue than half the self confessed IT experts.

Arena, VACBI;

His record is good

We use this system and get rosters by website and by email (in fact I get 2 different formats by email, a small one for the diary and a big A4 one for home), don't see why you have to log on to get your roster although I find it more up to date than the email. Good to be able to see the latest roster and updates from any PC - big improvement on what we had before.

Don't appear to have the same problems as you say - but that is only my experience. Maybe give them a call and see if it's your own airline or the system? I think they are based in Malmo, Sweden.

Try directing the question at the IT Dept. I understand Sabre crewing systems are in use across c.150 airlines. I would doubt this is a normal issue.

Server faults - crap hardware? who's fault is that?
Unable to log on - because of hardware failure? your PC's not up to the job? network breakdown?
Late rosters - Are you honestly saying the system sends out the roster late because that is the way it is? Does this not have anything to do with whoever is looking after the system?
Blank rosters? - Again, if 150 airlines are doing fine, chances are something wrong with your configuration.

All in all, the point I would like to make is that for the 'end-product' to work successfully, a whole suite of pre-reqs need to be met. I think this is a training issue or your IT dept is not up to it's job.
