Hi

I am planning on learning formation flying, however the flight school says i need to bring a nother person or two along with me who would also like to do the course as they do not have enough students for the formation.
Im planning on doing it in the summer.

Anyone interested? PM me

Thanks all :ok:

My first question is where is the school and who are the instructors!?

This really is not a sphere of aviation to trifle with.

Thanks Stik, and totally agree!;)

Link4, sorry we weren't able to match you up this time. In any case, we've mostly found that getting people to make their own student pairs/threeships for the formation courses means a far better chance of somebody not dropping out at short notice and causing problems for the rest of the course.

Look forward to seeing you at Kemble! :)

Anything against doing a formation course at UH? I thought they were very good.

Twizzle - you have completely misread my post!

UH ARE very good - their instructors have had the best training in the world, IMHO.

I think they're brilliant too, and I've not had the opportunity to fly with them yet.

Err, see you on Saturday. :O

Just to add my twopenneth worth.

I did my formation training Part 1 with Ultimate High with a partner I had never met and who was far more advanced than me. I was more than a little dubious, but as it turned out, there was no problem at all. We were both pushed to our own personal limits and at no time did I feel I was being asked to keep up to the standard of the other guy.

If you get a chance to do it, then DO IT!!
