Friends,
Your suggestions please,
My Dad wants to go to the US to complete a FAA IR, he already has a full FAA PPL. I don’t think he will consider any state other than Florida. Additionally, he has a share in a ‘steam gauge’ Cirrus SR22, so training on a ‘steam gauge’ Cirrus (22 or 20) would be ideal.
Dad will probably hire a villa for a few weeks (cheap holiday for me:ok: ) so school arranged accommodation will not be an issue, but the town and environs are important. Nice restaurants and bars, opportunity for occasional boat hire etc., and other hair letting down experiences.
He has been to Naples a couple of times and really likes the city.
I can check the legality of a schools visa status in:
http://www.ice.gov/doclib/sevis/pdf/ApprovedSchools.pdf
Thanks

San Diego, CA would appear to fit the bill. A search on Montgomery, Gillespie, McClellan Palomar should throw up plenty of ideas for you.

Sorry, I think I should have been more specific.
At this moment we're only concentrating on suitable schools in Florida.

Ah, well you were specific and I just misread your post. Shame, as San Diego is far nicer than anywhere in FL.

Anybody else?

I knew I should have waited 'til the weekend!

Is this the most suitable forum?
