Good morning, masters.

Would you do me a favour?

I have a question on GW indication dispayed at the bottom section(permanent data section) of SD.

Dose it gives actual weight of airplane?
(If it dose, how?)

or

computed gross weight with input number?

I've found short explain about GW indication on FCOM 1.31.20 p5.

It shows

GW

The screen displays the gross weight(GW) in green as soon as the second engine is started. the two last digits are dashed if accuracy is degraded. On ground, the indication is replaced by blue dashes if no computed data are available.

I couldn't find other information yet about it.

please advise me any page no. where I can find the weight showing mechanism.

The weight indication on the SD is based on the entered ZFW and the fuel remaining. The speeds on the PFD are based on the actual weight derived from the FAC's but these are less acurate as they can be out by around 2 tonnes.

There is a similar thread going somewhere here....

Don is correct however I would suggest that the FAC determined weights are more accurate than the loadsheet sometimes (especially when assumed weights are used)

There is no procedure to use the FAC weights for determination of GW.
