Anyone know if the rumours are true that they have stopped calling people for interviews?

How many more groundschools are left?

rumour was that all growth hiring would be complete by early summer. All hiring after would be due to attrition. I left Jazz the end of March so I can't comment on the interviews going forward. What I can tell you is Air Canada wannabes who are new on type are being frozen for 2 years before they can make the jump. What this will probably do is lead to a break in hiring followed by another surge into 2007. Just my opinion and as well I no longer work for jazz so I could be way off.

All groundschools have been assigned. A small pool is being formed with
those currently going through the selection process.

No new groundschools until the new equipment bid later this summer.
Does not mean there will be more hiring, the bid could come out neutral.

No more phone calls for interviews until after the equip. bid, and then only
if needed.

Hey Marbles, did you go mainline or jump to WJ. If it was WJ wouldn't
mind a report back, have a deferred interview with them later this fall
and Jazz is making me go hmmmmmmmmm.

Neither. I gave up on the Canadian airline industry and went overseas to CX.

Obbie, is the May 1st groundschool the last one for now? Or is there 1 or 2 left?

Marbles:

Best move you will ever make. I did the same 2 years ago and it is the best thing that has ever happened to me.

Congrats!
