Hi!
On monday my employer (Avinor, sole Norwegian ATS provider) will reach another low. Due to lack of staff, Sector South and Sector Central at Bodø ATCC will go to Zero rate (CFMU) one hour each EVERY night due to lack of staff/lack of cross-traning on sectors.
This is UFN.
Console will be manned by an ATSA that provide listening watch in case of SAR, when the controller has a mandatory break away from the console. (As opposed to sleeping at the scope, which our management suggested last year........)
Has anyone heard of zero rating sectors due to lack of staff on a regular basis?
