Would it be safe to use a Cat 111 ILS in class G airspace ? Discuss.

I think the big issue lies with the airport. It must be a controlled aerodrome, in order to enforce LVPs. As for the airspace, i really see no big difference from a CAT 1 approach with close-to-the-minima weather conditions. 100 meters or 550 don't allow time enough for a visual reaction to other traffic, I suppose.

Probably the safest type of approach to make in class G. If LVPs are in force, the chances are you're not going to find too many Cessnas, parachutists, aerial photographers, pipeline inspectors, military jets etc doing their stuff.
