hi,

I have a FAA PPL licence which I have not kept current, although I since then obtained a JAA PPL which is current, what do I need to get my FAA PPL current again ? can I get it revalidated on the basis of my JAA PPL ?

As far as I can remember the FAA private does not expire,as long as you have a current FAA medical and have done a biannual flight review within the past 24 months you are ok

candler is correct - that's all you need to revalidate it.

FAA medical and BFR with an FAA Instructor of course. PM me if you need one
