As far as i know the only place in Canada is Moncton...
I was at Tal too and is too bad that a big school like that doesn't have a JAA program!

don't you need a CPL and a certain number of hours to write the ATPL exam?

Hi,

Recommend you look at UK LASORS here (http://www.caa.co.uk/default.aspx?categoryid=175&pagetype=68&groupid=780).

Recommend you use Bristol Groundschool for studies here (http://www.bristol.gs/).

Have fun! :}

Your cheapest bet would be to complete the ATPL theory via Distance Learning. And, considering we live in the land of vast space and immense tax - then NAC would be your best bet. NAC probably isn't the best quality out there, but it definitely is the most affordable. Besides, you can obtain all the necessary info you'll need to pass the 14 exams if you use your resources.

Cheers.

Energie,

Anyone can write the JAA ATPL exams and in most cases, the ATPL exams are used in lieu of the CPL exams in Europe - I guess it's to avoid having to do them when you hit 1500 hrs for upgrade.

I'd use Bristol - I did mine with them and found the distance learning to be great - get the exam question database access.... I found it to be the biggest help to pass them... wasn't easy!
