This just appeared in my mailbox if anybody's interested (and for those not "with it", RAeS = Royal Aeronautical Society). Jon has clearly forgotten to mention that it's free.

Dear Colleague

Just a quick reminder that tomorrow evening (Tuesday) the remarkable Polly Vacher will be giving us a presentation on her round-the-world exploits. We very much hope you can join us for what will be an excellent presentation. (7 for 7.30 at Begbroke Science Park, Oxford)

Note: we won't be in our usual room at Begbroke. Please park in the car park to the left of the farmhouse building, and head towards the 'Oxford' room. We'll post some signs to guide you!

Also, for your diaries, the next two presentations have been confirmed and should generate packed houses: 21 March: Dick Stratton, "The latter days of Saunders-Roe: Princess, rocket planes and helicopters" 23 May: John Farley, "Jet VTOL since December 1951" Both will be at Begbroke.

Regards
