I am starting a 737-800 type rating soon...Any good web sites Or good books to get ?

Bill Bulfer's 'Cockpit companion' - available from URL reference deleted due commercial site. A fantastic reference. If you are going to be flying both classsic and NG then get the 'combi' edition.

Chris Brady's excellent www.b737.org.uk. It doesn't get much better than this.

This is really an excellent website concerning the B737.
Does anyone know if there is a simular one for the B744 ?

Seems to me that the website above mostly focuses on classics, or do I need to browse around more? I couldn't find all that much on the 738.

An excellent 737NG database of some 1100 Q's and A's. Compliled by a Virgin Blue Capt, and used by 100's of newbies on type.
