Hello folks,

do you guys have experience with flying in Mallorca or somewhere else during the winter time? I have to pick up some 15 VFR hours within the next 10 days, but it's raining cats and dogs...

Any ideas whom to call and where to fly in Europe?

Thx and bye.

Gran Canaria is good ! , El Barriel is the airfield, nice aircraft , well maintained and you can visit all the Canary Islands whilst enjoying your flying.

Cheap Flights over & pretty good weather for Winter.

Cyprus is also good although you are limited as to where you can go unless you fancy a quick trip over the water to Beiruit !.

Malaga and Jerez work very well also. For Malaga check out www.aerodynamics-malaga.com For Jerez do a Google, there's an outfit called Flying in Spain or similar.

If you decide to go to Malaga and be there in the second half of Feb, PM me.

For Jerez: it's fly in spain (http://www.fly-in-spain.com) Nice flying there and nice chaps (German as well as British), fair prices.
You can check my weblog 27 dec vliegmetmemee (http://vliegmetmemee.********.com) for a short impression and some pics whilst I was doing my ICAO -> JAR PPL conversion there. Its in Dutch :{ but find some pics anyway :ooh: .
Have fun!
