Hi there,

I was wondering if there's any chance on getting a computer-based performance calculator for the Beech Baron. If not, any idea on how to get a formula from tables to self create it?.

best regards

There's a whole science to math modeling of empirical data - polynomial curve fits, etc. etc. I used to make a good wage baffling my management with such b******t. :}

The easiest is to make x-y-z tables in Excel or some other spreadsheet, and have an interpolation (double interpolation, probably) routine to find the answer (z) based on (x,y) givens.

Yeap, got the POH and all performance info, but seems to be quite diff to find that routine. Any tips on what to start with?

Try starting with this (http://www.allstar.fiu.edu/aero/AirPer-BA.htm).

All good advice thus far - - I just wanted to add that a copy of Matlab is very useful in doing just that.

I use it to (relatively) easily plot curves for valves (electron tubes).
