I registered interest in the process to be come ATC as a backup from Pilot as these two careers have what I've been interested in. I've did the online tests they handed out, and filled in forms and it would seem I have been picked to attend a Physc test in February.

This is for Air Services Australia in Brisbane.

Has anyone else been through this? If so, what can I expect?

Regards,
Joshua :oh:

as a backup from Pilot
Expect to not receive positive impressions from mentioning that.

I understand what you mean, but I just want to work in the Aviation Industry. I've always thought of ATC. Still, any more info?

If you search through the 'archives' you'll find heaps of answers to the same questions. My flying instructor classes anybody who does what you are suggesting has 'given up', but those that do just spend the money!

It is a source of endless fun and tedium and a satisfying career. There is only one employer.

I definately have not given up on becoming a Pilot, I just applied for this some time ago, and seeing as though I've made it this far, why not give it a go? Nothing to lose, everything to gain?

But thanks, I'll try searching.
