Last night the inbound Speedbird from JFK to Manchester landed on 06L. It vacated at link H and taxied to Stand 49. The distance approx 160 yards. Can anyone think of a shorter [long haul] taxi distance?

Land 08L at Gatwick, vacate left at C park stand 142.
Hey Silent, What's the distance? It might be considered cheating landing on the emergency runway!!
A I :D :D :D
Whenever Silent lands at Gatwick they give him 08L :E

Land 23 at Stansted vacate right to 509. Got to be at least 130 metres and used by 747's and An124's (although not at the same time).

If London City were a proper airport, the taxi from the Runway via C to stand 2 is all of about 20 meters.
But as London City isn't a proper airport, let the derisory comments flow!
Hey Nonny Nonny - it must be a proper airport as you now do GMC mate!
Mike - even you wouldn't get lost there!
tee hee
Off for some
