Hi All

Heading to NZ next year and would like to do some flying while there. I have a PPL and training towards a CPL. What's the chances of hiring an a/c and does anyone know if there are any Tobago's over there for hire? Any other advice would be appreciated.

Cheers

If you are after some recreational flying rather than flight training I suggest you look up the local aero club. If in Auckland there is North Shore Aero Club, Auckland Aero Club etc. If you are down in Queenstown I recommend a mountain flying course as this is outstanding flying and a great way to see the area. Do a google search for an aero club closest to where you will be staying and you can't go wrong. Have fun.

For all you aeroclub links go to http://www.rnzac.org.nz

Not sure about where to get hold of a tobago but everywhere you go seems to have a C172 avaliable for around $160-$200hr.

Getting more 152 fleet shortly, has a 737NG replica procedural sim too!
