To help settle a difference in opinion: In the absence of readily available specs can anyone confirm that B777 engine pods are (roughly) the same diameter as B737 fuselage?

As big as the engines are they aint quite that size. The fuselage on a 737 is still a couple of feet more than that of the fan on them.

Somewhat related -

Some early DC-10 artists' views showed a DC-3 profile superimposed on the DC-10 #2 nacelle w/ long inlet duct. They were virtually identical in size. :8
