View Full Version : An-12 documentation, anyone?

Hi everyone... I've been invited to join a small cargo company operating a couple of An-12's. I know what this thing is about, I am from Russia myself, but here is the issue: we'll need to train some non-Russian-speaking pilots (and maybe technicians, too), but we don't have any English documentation, and translating it from Russian will take several months of intense work and/or lots of money. Does anyone here have any An-12 documentation in English they'd be willing to part with (or copy) under reasonable arrangements?

We were considering operating an AN12 ourselves and found that the Bulgarians are the only authority we could find who had AN12 manuals in English. We were spectacularly unsuccessful in getting anyone to sell us copies. If you get anywhere please let me know!

Saint-Ex,

You could try the same question on the D&G Forum.

There's a company operating an An-12 out of Brisbane, but I don't have any other details.

Good luck.

Just phoned Pacific Air Express which operated them from Brisbane. They no longer do :-(. However, there are some Bulgarian carriers with An-12 - e.g. Balkan, Air Sofia, Vega Air.
