What's happening over there ?!?

I buy a house in Aug, when interest rates are low and the CDN $ is about 2.2 to the GBP £.

Now, it's down to $2 a £ (a 14 yr high !!!), and interest rates are on the up ?

Likely to last ?

before you ask, I have done my research, am aware that interest rates are still very low and am glad the economy is well. Just wanted to spark a debate . . .!

oil price is keeping the C$ up. Bank of C musing over upping the rate due low (6.4pc) unemployment. It seems no one has told them the sh!t is about to hit the fan (GM, Ford, high exchange to USD hammering exports) and now is not the time to make life harder.
