My airline, striving for fuel saving, now allows flight to dispatch without alternate with mandatory 30 minutes fuel on top of 30 minutes holding fuel. Wonder about fuel policy for your airline?

All depends under what CAA authority you come under but most if not all require standard alternate and reserve fuel.

No problem in accordance with JAR-OPS 1...

...but not allowed according to our OM chapter 8, so no joy.

However, you end up in a similar situation if you dispatch with a PDP-procedure (OK, the last 1 hr will feel the same. :(

Restrictions for no alternate include:

1) It must be payload reasons that preclude carrying alternate fuel (i.e. if you can load it, you have to carry it)

2) Destination Wx must be FC good +-1hr from ETA (approach can be made VMC from MSA)

3) Flight no longer than 6hrs

4) 2 separate runways are available at Destination

Minimum additional fuel to be carried in the above case is 15mins holding at MLW

Our company is JAR-OPS. There is also an 'isolated aerodrome procedure' (where no alternate exists) which requires 2hrs of holding fuel.

Thank you fellow pilots,
According to our CAA, we are allowed to plan without alternate with the same criteria as you mentioned. And our company policy wants us to carry as little fuel as we can to save cost. But most of us are still not get use to this method. We feel that we must be able to go to somewhere just in case.Wonder which jar-ops this method based on ? What about FAA?

Somewhat similar with the FAA, including the 2hr island reserve case.
The FAA also allows enroute re-dispatch, which is quite useful on many occasions...if used properly.

In the island reserve case (2:00 holding required) what weather forecast requirements need to be met before dispatch?

in the USA, Island reserve is different from B-43. Island reserve is for destinations where there is physically no alternate airport available, there fore you need 2 hours of fuel at your destination to say" why did I do this"
B-43 allows you to dispatch with no alternate as long as the flight is under 6 hours and the weather is forcasted to be VFR one hour before to one hour after arrival time.
yes, its safe, and its ok, as long as you look at it carefully!

Australian rules allow their aircraft to have no alternate, with any traffic hold and 30mins reserve. However the minima for extra fuel covering tempo and inter wx conditions is higher than for those that do carry an alternate.
