Last thursday I bought £30s of goods online from a large webstore which serves most of europe and has a specific UK site but is based in the Netherlands.
What i orderded turned out to be out of stock for at least 28days so I asked them to cancel the order later that thursday. After many emails I finally got a response saying it was cancelled but that they normally didn't cancel orders.
They've refused to give me a refund and have said it must be spent as a store credit. What legal rights do i have to get my money back under the EU regs and other laws? What do i need to say to them?
I paid with a debit card not credit so can't claim it that way.
Can anyone advise please?
