The simulator is housed in the little building to the left of the picture - at the top. The rest is branding.

Will this one be able to handle all the traffic that is needed to properly simulate an airport rather than just half the amount? ;)

Many thanks for a super pic after a crazy summer, I'm sure it caused a smile everywhere.
By the way, if the engines were above the wing it would not be unlike a VFW 614.....an aircraft ahead of its time sadly....but two decades on and everyone seems to be buying the modern-day equivalents [ r-j's]
RGDS.

Don't bet on it GT3!

So that's what our Manager Aiport Development has been working on these past years!

Glad you liked it!

It has been a bit mad hasn't it? Phew! Mind you, we seem to have been saying this at WD/Swanwick every October in recent years :ouch:

We on the South have only just packed away our red coats  and are enjoying a relatively calm period at the moment.

Mind you, we'll be donning the salopettes and [level] caps in a month or so for the next mad dash south. :ugh:

As for VFW614 - had to have a google for that one - but I see the resemblance!

Typical NATS

Nice to see they invested in one of these "No sh*t Sherlock" signs at the base of the tower.
