I recently had an unpleasant experience on a 737-700. While coming into YYZ as a passenger, I experienced a severe case of ear pressure along with a number other passengers. I assume the system pressurized too rapidly (re-pressurized?). So I wonder how the pressurization system on this type of aircraft works. Is it computer controlled or is it done manually?
