Does anybody know the legalities concerning the "Form of Bonding". For example, if a person were to leave his employment prior to fulfilling a 2-year contract, what can that person be expected to pay if it states in his contract that he will be liable (pro-rata) for courses costing over £1000?

Flashman, I don't have personal experience of this but believe through hearsay that the sort of bonding contract you refer to is pretty watertight and probably not worth fighting. Why make the lawyers rich?

As a general rule, it is best to work out your time because you can pick up a rep for being unreliable and it doesn't stand you in good stead when you look for other work later (and it can be YEARS later when it could affect you adversely.)

Oh Yeah, Greenarrow, surreal reply man, what you on?
