Can anybody give me any names and links to some good flight schools in London. Especially N.London.

Try looking in the wannabe's forum and doing a search. Lot's of info on flight schools in there.

I wouldn't look any further than West London Aero Club (http://www.wlac.co.uk) at White Waltham, Maidenhead.
You could look at Wycombe Air Park, who have British Airways Flying Club (http://www.bafc.co.uk/) and Wycombe Air Centre (http://www.wycombeaircentre.co.uk/) .
Denham with Cabair (http://www.cabairflyingschools.com/denham.htm) also available at Elstree, Cranfield, Blackbushe, Bournemouth etc., and The Pilot Centre (http://www.egld.com/tpc/) .
Elstree with Cabair again (see link above).
Stapleford with Stapleford School of Flying (http://www.flysfc.com/)
North Weald (Epping Forrest), Andrewsfield, Redhill, Fairoaks and Blackbushe also have flying schools.
