Hello all,
I am putting together my CV to send off to a school for the possibility of an instructor scholarship or a guaranteed job at least at the end of the training.

I am basing my CV on skills and was wondering what current instructors believed to be the important qualities/skills required.

My view:
enthusiasm
patience
knowlage of the subject
ability to teach the subject to all
calm approach
safety mindedness
good flying ability

Any thoughts?

When I've been trawling through cvs, I must admit that the key things have been hours, types, airfields, sort of flying, reasons for flying, teaching experience, qualifications etc
The best way to sell yourself is to go there and talk to them.
We need to think you have something special to offer.
Good luck -

PS Distaff's point is made a bit unkindly but it is worth checking that your spelling and grammar is correct. If you spell knowledge as knowlage the CFI will think that you don't have much attection to detail - I know it's nothing to do with flying but it is worth making a good first impression !
