Hi,

I've been reading Safety Sense Leaflet 20b "VFR Flight Plans", and it mentions another document with more detailed information on how to fill out and file the flight plan form. This other document is CAP 694 (The UK Flight plan Guide), I've searched the CAA publications but can't seem to find it anywhere, does anybody know where I can find this online.

Thankyou

Don't quote me, but it may well now be Chapt 9 of this CAA Doc (http://www.caa.co.uk/default.aspx?categoryid=64&pagetype=90&pageid=2151).

Thanks WF, I came across this document during my searches. It may be the one but it seems to lack quite a bit of information regarding the filling out of the form, it also mentions CAP 694 in the reference materials section so I'm not sure. Thanks for the help though.

I have noticed before that the CAA seem to have a problem with their configuration management. CAP 208 springs to mind as once being a heavily referenced and non existent document.

Does this help?

Thankyou High Wing Drifter, thats great. I think I have enough info now to do my flight plan. But I agree, the CAA shouldn't reference materials that don't exist. Thankyou again.
