Chaps,

Working abroad at the moment, but ready to do my written exams (PPL). Got the choice of flying into Stanstead, Luton or Gatwick. Any CAA approved test centers or flights schools there that could administer the tests ? As I will only fly in for the day to sit one or two exams at a time.
Any suggestions ?

You could do them AT THE CAA - they are the same questions, so they won't be any harder there than elsewhere.

The CAA will instantly have records of your results - not quite so easy if you end up using different flight schools to do your exainations at.

The slightly higher cost of using the CAA may well be offset by the fact that you can travel direct from Gatwick Airport, on a free bus, and save on the cost of a rental car or taxi cabs.

AND you can go get good cheap food at their super subsidised restaurant.
