The British team have swept the board in the Standard Class at the World Junior Gliding Championships. Mark Parker, Jon Meyer and Andy May came 1-2-3 after having dominated the contest from the start. Mark Holden finished 13th in the Club Class with John Roberts 17th. Mark Parker's win is the third consecutive British victory in the Championships

I would encourage all prunners to recognise this and bombard the BBC with votes for the Team when in comes around to BBC Sports personality of the year time in November - (something else Ipswich Town won't win tis season!!).ok: :ok:

Four gliding comps start this weekend at Bicester, Dunstable, Grandsden Lodge and Nympesfield. Subject to weather, there will be a degree of coorndiation as we don't want 200+ gliders all at the same place at once.:
