Anybody know the reason behind the delays on the Manchester/Sandford flight this weekend?
Have a neighbour who was due to fly tomorrow (Saturday) and has been told there is a 24 hour delay.

My best guess is they're tech' delays.
Just a wild stab in the dark of course... :hmm:

Forgive my sarcasm - it's a very common mistake - but maybe the delay was caused by flight crew trying to find Sandford in the database.
It's Sanford - just the one 'D' at the end.
I know it doesn't answer your question, I know it's mega-pedantic. Just caused me a wry smile as I wondered why the delay. Sorry.

TCD flights dlyd due to one 747 aog in SFB as engine fan blades needed to be replaced and another 747 div into Charlotte with sick crew member!
All unavoidable !!!
