Can someone advise me the best and acceptable route VFR from Cannes to Lucca in Italy (near Pisa)?

I found the best way to Italy (Perugia) was on the VFR routes that take you towards Bastia then Elba.

I wanted to fly a more direct track but the danger area north of waypoint "LEPRA" was hot.

All the VFR routes are shown very clearly in the Bottlang

We went to Lucca 2 months ago, a lovely airfield and Lucca was really one of Italys little gems!!

From Cannes we went south to Corsica then Sardinia then across to Lucca, the route was breathtaking. Then we went north east to Venice and back via Pama, Albenga, Cannes.

No problems with anything but carry all the Docs in the aircraft!! and also check ahead of fuel availability.:ok:

Last time I did that trip (although in reverse direction) Genoa routed me direct across the Gulf of Genoa to Albenga and then along the coast, low level out to sea past Nice and then into Cannes
