Charter flight tocarribean and florida via gander and bangor

I was working and trying to figure out why charter flights that dont usually stop at them places decided to today on the departure screens.

I would think that other aircraft were used to cover flights because of delays.
First choice today used B757 on a SFB flight, because of a Tech B767 earlier on.
