Hi guys

I think this is the best place to ask about atc freq's for enronte aircrft bound for Heathrow. Iam looking for the freq's that a aircraft will contact from leaving the atlantic to heathrow approach via the OCK and BNN arrivals. If anybody can help with this that would be great or anyother route via BIG or Lam from european airspace.

Umm thats a rather broad question as it would depend at what point, and in some case the level, the aircraft entered the UK system. For BNN arrivals you could arrive via Scotland Northern England. For OCK that could be Lands End or Ireland.

Are you looking for all freqs or the TMA freqs around Heathrow?

Hi clicker

Lets say all aircraft are between fl310 and fl380 what would the freq's be if there where to fly over
LND and STU on the OCK arrival
and WAL on the BNN arrival.

Starting at STU the first London frequency is 129.375. As the aircraft move Eastbound they may, traffic levels permitting, be transferred to 133.6. As they begin descending towards FL270 they will be transferred to 134.75 (as they leave Wales!) On passing abeam Lyneham terminal control will take over on 134.12.

If entering via LND the first (and largest) sector will be 132.95, again traffic levels permitting this sector can be split so aircraft may be transferred (around the Plymouth area) to 126.07. Generally this sector will issue an initial descent restriction and, whilst in the vicinity of Lyme Bay, will hand off to 129.42 who will, most of the time, keep the aircraft till passing control to terminal control, again on 134.12 between Southampton and Petersfield.
